Update Treasure Trolley Adventure: A Unique Shopping Experience Awaits Last month, I embarked on a delightful adventure through Acworth, Georgia, thanks to the local home decor store, Home and Seasons. Known for hosting a variety of vendors offering everything from charming home decor to unique collectibles, this store truly captures the spirit of community shopping. My invitation to join the Treasure Trolley—a bus trip filled with shopping opportunities—was an unforgettable experience that any local homeowner should consider. Exploring Local Gems on the Treasure Trolley The Treasure Trolley event is designed to entice shoppers with a full day of exploration through five curated stops showcasing some of the best shops in the area. Riding the trolley offers more than just convenience; it fosters a sense of camaraderie among participants, many of whom were joined by friends and family. For only $75, the package includes transportation, a lavish boxed lunch, beverages, and snacks—making it an incredible bargain for a fun-filled day. First Stop: Urban Renewal – A Hidden Treasure The first stop on our itinerary was Urban Renewal, a delightful women's consignment shop in Acworth that specializes in upscale clothing. As a frequent visitor, I knew I would find something special, and this trip was no exception—I happily walked away with three stylish tops that perfectly matched my color palette. It’s always a joy to support local businesses that offer quality and affordability! Crafting Connections: Revive/Restore and Beyond Next, we ventured to Revive/Restore in Woodstock, a thrift store bursting with eclectic items. I snagged a wicker basket for my dog's toys and a lovely blue-and-white bowl. However, our visit was filled with excitement—not merely from shopping; our bus encountered an unexpected issue when the incline of a driveway caused a bit of a jam. While our drivers quickly coordinated a solution, we unboarded to shop and enjoy our lunch outside. Such mishaps are part of the adventure, and they foster fun memories! Discovering the Painted Tree & Magnolia Market The third location brought us to The Painted Tree, a boutique that houses numerous mini-shops under one roof. This store is a feast for the eyes and offers a variety of unique gifts and home decor items. Just down the road, our fourth stop was the Magnolia Market in Hiram—a delightful place featuring pastries, homemade ice cream, and lots of seasonal decor. Although I refrained from purchasing more decor (my house could fill an entire showroom!), the ambiance and treat were simply irresistible! A Final Stop at Treasure Hunt Our last stop was the Treasure Hunt in Powder Springs, an antique mall filled with vendors showcasing vintage collectibles and beautiful decor items. Here, I found an adorable bunny planter that I couldn’t resist for $25.
